Breckenridge is served by a complimentary town-wide shuttle system known as the Free Ride. Several bus routes connect the town's lodging properties with Main Street, resort base areas, local grocery stores, the Recreation Center and the Stephen C. West Ice Arena. In recent years the town has made extraordinary efforts to improve the "green factor" of its Breckenridge Shuttle Fleet by adding several diesel electric hybrid busses. All Free Ride busses are handicap-accessible. Free ride bus service is available from 6:30 am to 12:00 am, 7 days a week.

County-Wide Shuttle Service:

The Free Ride routes also connect with a complimentary county-wide shuttle service, known as the Summit Stage. The Stage routes link Breckenridge with the towns of Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne. This shuttle service runs continually from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM year-round.
